Putting Green

Ideally located between the clubhouse and the first tee, our dedicated practice putting green gives all golfers the perfect opportunity to fine tune their putting and get feel for pace of greens before stepping onto the golf course.

​The green is perfectly maintained at same speed as the course to ensure smooth transition onto the course. The putting green adjacent to clubhouse is also floodlit so golfers can continue to work on their putting technique even after the sun settles.

​Short Game Area

At the entrance to our driving range we have a dedicated short game area. The short game area has three entrances through some well positioned hedging adding extra privacy for focusing on practice.

​Just like the practice putting green, the chipping green is maintained to the same speed and quality as the greens on the course. Whether its chipping, pitching or putting you are hoping to perfect,  this area offers you all the opportunities to improve.

​Driving Range

Athenry Golf Club members and visitors are truly spoilt with top class facilities located adjacent to the clubhouse or just a 2 minute walk to the first tee. Boasting a mixture of both indoor and outdoor bays with varying targets there are no excuses to not taking advantage and improving your game. With premium quality artificial practice mats, range balls and the range stretching out to over 300yds from the back tees, all areas of a golfers game can be worked on.
