Open Competitions

Athenry Golf Club offers various Ladies’ and Gents’ Open Days throughout the year when non-members can play in a variety of competition from Singles Stableford to Foursomes and Fourballs to fun Scrambles. Generally, ladies’ and gents’ open days are available every Wednesday during high season (March – October).
Our Open Week generally takes place every year on the last week in July with a variety of competitions running throughout the week from Singles Stableford, to Fourballs, to V-Par not forgetting the very popular 9-hole mixed competitions. Open Singles Competitions are also generally held on bank-holiday weekends, providing an ideal opportunity to have a game with friends or family.
